Denise has over 30 years of experience as a family law paralegal. In her college career, she earned a degree in business administration before graduating with honors from the Philadelphia Institute of Paralegal Training. With patience and compassion Denise works closely with clients to help them navigate their case from beginning to end. With her decades of experience in the specialty of family law, she has gained immeasurable knowledge and skill that have earned her the title of senior paralegal at our firm.
Denise is a board member of the South Jersey Paralegal Association which strives to foster and promote regulated high-level educational standards and uniform practice guidelines for paralegals. As a board member, Denise is dedicated to promoting the paralegal profession by networking, pursuing continuing legal education seminars, mentoring students, and educating the public. Through the SJPA, Denise was awarded the status of a New Jersey Certified Paralegal having exceeded the standard of qualifications for paralegals.
Denise also volunteers her time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate which is a program designed to help monitor and advocate for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. Her primary objective is to represent to the court the best interests of the children to whom she is assigned. Denise successfully completed program-specific training prior to appointment and in-service training thereafter. This included medical and educational advocacy, trauma informed care and cultural competency. Denise is also certified as an adolescent mental health first aider.
In her spare time, Denise devotes herself to family. She also enjoys travel, the outdoors and refinishing furniture.
