Winnie attended law school at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she graduated as part of the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society. In law school, Winnie served as the Family Law Society’s President and the First-Generation Law Owls’ Vice-President. During law school, Winnie interned for Women Against Abuse, Philadelphia Legal Assistance, and the United States Attorney’s Office. Winnie also worked as a Student Attorney in Temple Law’s Family Litigation Clinic, where she represented several clients in child custody, Protection from Abuse, and child support hearings. Winnie has always had a passion for family law, so upon graduating from law school, she went on to serve as a law clerk to the Honorable Viktoria Kristiansson in the Philadelphia County Family Division.
Before law school, Winnie attended the George Washington University in Washington, D.C, where she graduated magna cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Winnie grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and now resides in Philadelphia. In her free time, Winnie loves to spend time with her friends and family, explore new cafes and museums, and visit thrift shops.
