Valerie Newcomb is a seasoned family law attorney with over two decades of experience providing compassionate and strategic counsel in matters involving divorce, child custody, support, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and adoption. She represents clients across Philadelphia and New Jersey and is a trusted advocate for members of the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #5.
Before joining William Kirby Law, Valerie built a respected legal career that included serving as a judicial clerk for multiple judges in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She later practiced with firms such as Rocco Law Group and Deeb, Petrakis, Blum & Murphy, gaining deep experience in all aspects of family law litigation. In 2010, she co-founded Spino & Newcomb, LLC, where she led with a client-centered philosophy focused on protecting families and resolving disputes with care and clarity.
Valerie is trained in basic mediation through the Good Shepherd Mediation Program and is deeply committed to alternative dispute resolution when it serves her clients’ best interests. She is also active in the Philadelphia Bar Association and community organizations, including the Order of the Sons & Daughters of Italy and the Nicholas A. Cipriani American Inn of Court.
